The AIDS Memorial Quilt, established in 1987, was created to commemorate the many lifes of people who have died of AIDS. Weighing an estimated 54 tons, it is the largest piece of community folk art in the world as of 2016 and has been sewn together by friends, lovers and family members. The NAMES Project AIDS Foundation was established to be the custodian of The Quilt. I design and produce their annual calendar.
This interactive iPad app was built to commemorate the 25th anniversary of The AIDS Memorial Quilt.
